Jon Rahm fought off the chasing pack to win the Hero World Challenge as Justin Rose also missed out on the world number one spot.
Overnight leader Rahm showed his class when shooting a seven-under par 65 to finish the tournament on 20 under, four shots ahead of Tony Finau, while Rose was a further shot back in third.

Rahm took control of the final day’s play when he picked up four birdies in his opening nine holes in Albany and never looked back from there as he picked up his third title of the year.
As for Rose he needed to finish the tournament in second to reclaim his spot at the top of the world rankings, and looked on course to do so as he shot a 65 to hold second on his own.
However Finau picked up two birdies in the last four holes to leapfrog over Rose, which means Brooks Koepka remains top of the pile in the world standings.
Meanwhile, tournament host Tiger Woods was 17th in the 18-man field after a closing 73 left him at one under.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
