Raja Casablanca's Nigerian forward Christian Osaguona has been ruled out for two weeks due to a thigh injury, his club's official website has revealed.
The 26 year old forward suffered the injury in his side's friendly against Ittihad Tanger on Sunday and will miss his side's league clash against FUS Rabat this Friday.
The former Nigerian Premier League hotshot felt a severe pain, according to the report. And results from the medical tests showed he copped an injury that requires him to rest for 15 days, as was confirmed by the team's medical doctor Abdullah al-Tayeb.
"He (Christian Osaguona) needs rest for the next 15 days after suffering from an injury in the thigh, so that he can recover his fitness and resume with the group," al-Tayeb told the club's website.
Osaguona scored five goals for Raja Casablanca in four CAF Champions League games last season.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Michael Babatunde who joined the club in the January window is expected to make his debut on Friday.
