Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is confident he will be able to face Manchester City on Saturday despite concerns over an ankle knock.
Ramsey suffered an ankle injury while playing for Wales in Andorra on Tuesday night on a pitch team-mate Gareth Bale described as “by far the worst” he had ever played on.
Arsenal take on Manchester City in the early Premier League fixture on Saturday and Ramsey is confident he will recover in time for the defending champions’ visit to the Emirates.
“I’ll be alright – the pitch was very hard.
There’s no give in it so I rolled my ankle a bit,” said Ramsey. “Hopefully it will be nothing and I’ll be available for Saturday. These are the games you want to play in and I’m looking forward to it.”
City suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Stoke prior to the international break, while Arsenal remain unbeaten and punters may wish to use their free bet to back Ramsey’s Gunners this weekend.
