Exclusive By Sab Osuji:

Enugu Rangers hierarchy will hold a crisis management meeting on Friday April 24, in the aftermath of the club’s poor start to the 2014/2015 Nigeria Premier League season, completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Rangers who are without a silverware in 31 years are stuck on the bottom of table with three points from a possible maximum of 15 after five matches so far in the season.

This development has triggered demand by supporters of the club for coach Kelechi Emeteole sacking.

“Yes, there is going to be a meeting on Friday at the club’s office (23 Abakaliki Road, Lugard Avenue,Enugu).

“It’ll center on the way forward and will be between the General Manager, the coaches and the Consultants,” Foster Chime, spokesman of the club told Completesportsnigeria.com.

Chime added that future of coach Emeteole has never been called to question and will not be a subject of debate at the meeting.

“It’s not about coach or players, its all about evaluating where we are and finding the way forward.

“We’ve no plans to sanction either the coach or players”.

General Manager of the club, Ozor Paul Chibuzor, said there is no cause to worry following their poor run so far in the season.

Drawing inspiration from their performance in their 1-0 defeat by Dolphins in a match day 5 clash in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Chibuzor gave his charges passmark.

“The boys played well, they dominated possession, but were unable to finish up well in front of goal.

“If they had converted their chances, the result would have been different.

“Sometimes it happens that way and I’m sure will come out stronger in coming games.

“We’ve El-Kanemi game coming up this weekend in Enugu and I’m sure it will mark a turning point for us”, Chibuzor told completesportsnigeria.com.
