Champions Enugu Rangers played out a thrilling 3-3 away draw against Gombe in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 19 tie on Wednesday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Rangers raced to a 2-0 lead thanks to a brace from Obinna Nwobodo.
But second half goals from Austine Oladapo (brace) and Ibrahim Abdullahi looked to have sealed the win for Gombe.
However, a last minute goal by Osas Okoro made sure both teams shared the spoils.
The draw moved Rangers to 16th in the league table on 23 points, while Gombe, also on 23 points, moved up from 18th to 17th position.
Nwobodo gave Rangers the lead in the 12th minute, tapping into an empty net after being set up by Okoro.
In the 58th minute Nwobodo grabbed his second goal with a superb individual effort to put Rangers 2-0 up.
Gombe pulled a goal back on 63 minutes through Oladapo who profited from a goal mouth scramble to bring the score to 2-1.
Two minutes later Gombe were back on level terms thanks to Oladapo who converted from the penalty spot after a Rangers player was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box.
In the 92nd minute, Abdullahi scored what looked to be the winning goal for Gombe.
But in the 95th minute, Okoro equalised for Rangers to end the game 3-3.
