Rangers head coach, Imama Amapakabo, is happy to see his side extend their lead at the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League after the League Management Company declared them winners of the abandoned match day 12 fixture against Giwa FC, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Rangers led 1-0 at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos before the match was abandoned.
Giwa FC failed to show up in Abuja on Wednesday for the completion of the game and the league body declared the Flying Antelopes winners with three points and one goal.
The Coal City side are now four points clear at the top of the log.
"Feeling a bit of relief knowing we are four points clear and can go seven by the weekend," Imama wrote on his Twitter handle on Friday.
Rangers will face Rivers United in a match day 14 fixture at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
