Enugu Rangers forward and leading scorer in the new season, Fortune Omoniwari, is confident the club will record their first win of the campaign in the Nigeria Professional Football League against El-kanemi Warriors on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The NPFL champions are without a win in the league this season after two round of matches.
The Flying Antelopes lost 2-1 at home against South-East rivals, Abia Warriors on the opening day and forced Nasarawa United to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Omoniwari who linked up with the Coal City side from Akwa United during the off- season have scored two goals for the club. He believes Rangers have the quality to fight and avoid and sectback in the early stages of the season.
"It's a must win situation for us against El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday," the former Heartland striker tells Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Things have not really shaped up for us this season, but we believe things will improve soon.
"We believe in our ability to bounce back from the disappointments and the fans will see a new team on Sunday.
" Hopefully, it will be the start of new things for us."
