Enugu Rangers will face one of their toughest games in the season when they file out at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium against Dolphins.
Rangers are 16th on the log and will need all the points they can garner in a bid to avoid relegation. But Dolphins have their heads tightly screwed onto their necks in a bid for a top three finish.
However, beyond the race against relegation, Rangers want to ensure ‘good rest’ for the soul of one of their foremost players, Ernest Ufelle who passed on few days ago.
“This is a game we must win”, declares coach John Obuh. “First we are in a position we cannot afford to drop points any longer.
“Doing so (dropping points) will not be in our best interest and secondly, we will want to win as a parting honour for one of our former players, Ernest Ufelle who died recently.
“So I don’t think we’ll have any reason not to beat Dolphins on Wednesday”, Obuh boasted, saying he had worked in Port Harcourt (with Sharks) and so knows Dolphins inside out.
