Ranieri Expects Tough United Match, Insists No Leicester Pressure

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has declared that his team's aim now is to finally realise their dream of winning the English Premier League on Sunday against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

A win for Leicester against United will see them crowned champions of the EPL for the first time in their history.

On their part, United will be hoping to keep their quest for a top four finish alive by beating Leicester.

Speaking ahead of the match in his press conference, Ranieri however predicted a difficult game for his side.

"We are fighting to try to make this dream a reality. But it's not a reality yet," Ranieri said.

"On Sunday, there is a tough match, I have a lot of respect for Van Gaal, the players and fans of Manchester United.

"I want to concentrate on the next match. The players have trained just the same, very concentrated.

"I talked to the players. Everything is in our hands. If our strength is to be concentrated, we must continue in this way."

He added: "I have a lot of choice. I have 24 players. Maybe I'll change them all! The Tinkerman never changes his way."

The former Chelsea boss dismissed talk of being under pressure to win the EPL.

"I am not nervous. I think only of Manchester. Be strong, be solid.

"We know very well that now is a real chance to win the Premier League title. Next season, you never know what will happen.

"I am very happy when I see the fans happy. I have an open heart to the fans. This is unbelievable. This is history."

"I am relaxed because I watch my players. They train well, enjoy and help each other. It's important to prepare well."

  • Leicester at the verge of making history. A team with no known player, almost relegated last season, with no experienced big match player and now look at it, they will be there rubbing should with Messi, Suarez, Abrahanovich of Barca and PSG respectively. The beauty of it all is that next reason does not matter for next season will take care of itself but other small clubs like West Ham, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace could Leicester other clubs and dominate the EPL. Confidence has increased. If Leicester can do it, other small burgetted clubs all over the world can do it. In Russia, Holland, Bulgeria, Belgium, Iceland, Egypt, anywhere, small clubs with good organization and prudent spending can do the leicester. I wish Leicester a early partying by beating Man u 2-1. There will be no delay.
