Claudio Ranieri has backed Wilfred Ndidi for greatness but played down comparisons between the Nigeria midfielder and former Leicester City player N'Golo Kante.
Ndidi is expected to make his Leicester City Premier League debut against Chelsea on Saturday after his impressive first appearance in the FA Cup win against Everton last weekend.
The 20-year-old, who was signed for £15 million from Genk, will line up against Kante at the King Power Stadium.
But Leicester manager Ranieri, who was recently crowned 2016 FIFA Best Coach of the Year, insists they are totally different players.
Ranieri however tipped Ndidi for greatness in a few years to come.
"Everybody compares Ndidi with N'Golo but they are totally different," Conte told Leicester mercury.co.uk.
"In two to three years Ndidi can go high – we really believe in him.
"We paid a lot for him, more than Kante, because we believe he can arrive at a top, top level."
