Rayon Sports of Rwanda head coach, Roberto Do Carmo, insists his side’s CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final clash against two-time African champions, Enyimba is a big opportunity for his players to show their quality to the world, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
The Gikundiro, who are unarguably the most popular club in Rwanda will face Enyimba in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final clash at the Stade Nyamirambo, Kigali today (Sunday).
Rayon Sports who finished in second position in Group D are obviously the underdogs heading into the clash going by their lesser pedigree on the continent.
But Do Carmo is adamant that his charges can make a big statement with a fine performance against the People’s Elephant.
“It’s a good opportunity for my team to be in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final round. It’s a great platform for my players to confidently deliver and show the world what they possess,” Do Carmo told reporters ahead of the game.
The game will kick-off at 3pm Rwanda time (2pm Nigeria time).
