Newly appointed manager of German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, Ralf Ragnick, has stated that the club will push on with their intention of signing Nigerian-born England U-21 international Ademola Lookman from Everton.
Everton have already rejected a bid worth around £12m from RB Leipzig for the young striker
Ragnick was elevated from the position of Sporting Director to head coach by the club on Monday.
He will be in charge of the club for the 2018/2019 Bundesliga season.
Lookman, 20, spent the second half last season on loan with the Bundesliga club, scoring five goals in 11 league games.
“We’re still in talks over Ademola Lookman. We want him back and he wants to come.”Ragnick told reporters on Monday.
