Real Madrid are hoping Brahim Diaz will run down his contract at Manchester City and head to the Bernabeu at the end of the season. Los Blancos lost out to City in the race to sign Diaz back in 2013 when the youngster was with Malaga, but they now hope to finally land their man.
The youngster is out of contract at the end of the season and unless he puts pen-to-paper on another one, there is every chance he could be on the move.

City paid £4million to take him from Malaga, but could lose him for nothing if the player decides to let his contract run down.
Diaz has a decision to make, stick with City and sign a deal to commit for the next few years, or return to his homeland with Real, which is sure to be tempting.
His decision could come down to the whether he sees himself getting any first-team opportunities with City in the near future, and whether his prospect would improve at Real.
Diaz has just made a couple of EFL Cup appearances for City this season and breaking into the first-team squad is proving difficult.
