Real Madrid are understood to have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City’s teenage star Brahim Diaz at the end of his contract. City swooped to sign Diaz from Malaga as a schoolboy but his five-year stint at the club looks set to come to an end next summer when his contract expires.
The 19-year-old, who has been given fleeting opportunities by Pep Guardiola in the past two seasons, has refused to sign a new deal because of frustrations over his lack of first-team action.

And, according to a pundit on TV show El Chiringuito, Real Madrid are set to officially land the player – who is able to sign a pre-contract agreement as early as January.
City will net a tiny amount of compensation with no transfer fee required.
Diaz, who has made just three starts and 11 substitute outings since his debut in September 2016, will hope his decision to quit City will pay off as much as Jadon Sancho’s switch to Borussia Dortmund has for the Englishman.
