Salford coach Ian Watson has hailed the capture of Adam Lawton and believes he will be a big asset to the Red Devils squad in 2019. Lawton, now 25, came through the ranks at Widnes before heading to Australia for a sabbatical, where he played for Redcliffe Dolphins.
More recently Lawton played amateur rugby league for West Bank Bears last season, but is now back in Super League with the Red Devils, and Watson is delighted to have him on board. “Signing Adam is really exciting for us here at Salford Red Devils. I’m really looking forward to working with him,” Watson said.
“Adam burst onto the Betfred Super League scene in devastating fashion a few years ago before a small spell in Australia. “I believe in our team environment here at Salford we will see Adam back to his best. Adam adds something different to our current squad with his size and footballing ability. He will be a big asset to our squad for the 2019 season.”
Lawton is also delighted to be back and has thanked Salford for the opportunity. “I’m really excited to get back into a professional environment here at Salford and starting pre-season training this week,” Lawton added.
“I’m also grateful to Salford, Ian Watson and Ian Blease for giving me an opportunity to showcase what I’m all about in the Betfred Super League. “2019 is all about proving myself and getting back to the performances I displayed a few years ago.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
