Dimitri Foulquier’s wish of a move away from Watford could become a reality as French side Reims want to take him on loan. The 25-year-old has yet to make an appearance for the Hornets following his arrival from Granada in 2017, spending the entirety of last season on loan with Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Having been informed that he does not feature in Javi Gracia’s plans for the season, Foulquier publicly stated earlier this month that he wants to leave Vicarage Road, either on loan or permanently.
According to Goal France, Reims could be ready to offer the French defender an escape route and have already tabled two bids, both of which have been rejected by Watford.
Reims, who were promoted to Ligue 1 last season, are understood to be continuing discussions with the Hornets in the hope of agreeing a season-long loan deal.
