Regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw.

Bayelsa Queens dominated the early proceedings and took the lead through Rafiat Sule on 19 minutes.

The forward scrambled the ball home after Rivers Angels defenders failed to deal with a dangerous cross in the box.

The Port Harcourt-based side however rallied back and got the equalising goal five minutes later through Ohale Osinachi.
Osinachi curled in a superb free kick from 22 yards which sailed into the back of the net.

It was Rivers United who took the first and converted all five penalties to go home with the trophy.
