Rivers United captain, Austine Festus, has warned his teammates not to get carried away by their current position in the Nigeria Professional Football League table, insisting there is still a lot to fight for before the end of the campaign, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Pride of Rivers moved to the second position on the log following Wednesday's 1-0 win against Wikki Tourists at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Stanley Eguma's men have now won their last three games in the NPFL.
And amidst talk about the club challenging for the title this season, the centre-back has warned that they must not put themselves under any undue pressure.
"I don't think we should be talking about winning the title at this stage of the season,'' the former junior international told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It's good that we have continue to move up in the table but we must not put ourselves under any undue pressure for now.
"We must also continue to work hard and not allow the little success we have achieved so far get into our heads.
