Rodgers Bemoans Draw With Everton

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers felt his side did not get the result they deserved against Everton on Saturday.

The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by the Toffees in the Merseyside derby after Phil Jagielka scored a stunning equaliser in injury time to cancel out Steven Gerrard’s classy 65th-minute free-kick.

In the wake of the clash, Rodgers suggested that his Reds side came away unrewarded as their winless streak in the league stretched to three matches.

“We didn’t get what we deserved,” said Rodgers.
