Rohr, Musa Hail Okowa Over $25,000 Per Goal Incentive For Eagles Vs Bafana

By Johnny Edward:
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr and stand-in captain, Ahmed Musa both praised the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa for pledging an incentive of $25,000 for every goal scored in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying cracker against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Johannesburg, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The pair admitted the incentive will motivate the team to fire from all cylinders against the team they lost to 17 months ago at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo.

“I thank the Delta State Government for their hospitality and for making us feel so comfortable,” Rohr said.

“I am so happy because the pitch is in a much better state than the last time I was here.

“The Super Eagles will continue to work hard to make all those who have played one role or the other in their progress happy that their investment in the team is not a waste.”

Stand-in Captain, Ahmed Musa, said: “We thank His Excellency, Governor Okowa so much for the motivation to us to do well in Johannesburg on Saturday.

“We promise that we will return here on Sunday with the victory. We will also do all we can to give the people of Asaba and the generality of Delta State and Nigerians a very good game against Uganda next Tuesday.”

Nigeria need just one point from Saturday’s encounter at the FNB Stadium in Soweto, outside Johannesburg, to be sure of a slot at the Africa Cup Of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon.

    30k X 12 X 20 years of service 7m.

This is the best incentive our players need to prove that Nigeria lost to the South Africans in June last year was a fluke. Ho Ighalo, you probably hold your head for missing this one.
