The Nigeria Football Federation have appointed Italian Enrico Pionetti as Super Eagles new interim goalkeeper trainer.
Pionetti, 62, had worked with Rohr during his time as coach of Ligue 1 club OGC Nice and Burkina Faso.
Pionetti is expected to work with current Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu.
His first assignment would be with the home-based Super Eagles who will take on Benin Republic in the first leg of the 2018 CHAN qualifier on August 13.
During his playing career, Pionetti featured for Lecce (1983 to 1986) and Brescia (1986 to 1987) in the Seria A.
Aside from Lecce and Brescia, Pionetti also played for Anconitana , Salernitana , Cremonese and Imperia.
And as a goalkeeper coach, after leaving Nice in 2005 (after joining them in 2000), he also worked with FC Bologna during their time in Serie B from 2005 to 2006.
And from 2008 to 2012, he joined AC Ajaccio when they were in Ligue 2.
