Roma could be without five key men for the trip to Udinese on Saturday with defenders Aleksandar Kolarov and Kostas Manolas doubtful.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Kolarov, Manolas, Daniele De Rossi, Javier Pastore and Diego Perotti are all suffering from knocks with boss Eusebio Di Francesco unlikely to risk them against the Zebrette.
However, within this short time frame and crucial matches waiting ahead, the coach does hope to have at least some of them available to face Real Madrid in the Champions League next week.
Manolas returned from international duty in Greece with a sprained ankle that puts his place at the heart of the Giallorossi defence in doubt this weekend.

His place could go to former Porto star Ivan Marcano while Davide Santon, who had been earmarked to come in at right-back if Alessandro Florenzi needed a rest after international duty, a candidate to replace Kolarov on the opposite flank.
Roma captain De Rossi has been out of action since the clash with Naploli on October 28, 20 days ago.
His place will again go to Bryan Cristante, who will line-up alongside Steven Nzonzi as one of the two midfielders just in front of the defence.
