Kenneth Omeruo and his Middlesborough teammates have proved they have what it takes to compete for a promotion ticket in the English Championship.
Last weekend’s 1-1 home draw against Watford saw them drop from second on the log to fifth but they have another chance to put things right once again when they face 16th placed Rotherham United today.
Omeruo was axed from the squad last week but made a swift return to Boro’s line-up for the Carling Cup game against Newcastle United in midweek.
Prior to the game, the erstwhile Standard Liege of Belgium player was always one of the notable names in coach Aitor Karanka’s list except on few occasions when he was not fit to play.
Kenneth has made nine appearances in the Championship for Middlesborough.
