Rovers Complete Crooks Deal

Hull KR have announced that Ben Crooks will be staying with the club after penning a two-year contract extension. Crooks joined Rovers towards the end of last season from Leigh and played a crucial role in the Super 8’s qualifiers as they secured a place in Super League for 2019.

The 25-year-old is delighted to have committed his future and cannot wait to get started.
“I have really enjoyed the last few months at the club, making sure we secured our status in Super League which is where Hull KR belong,” Crooks said.

“The coaches and all of the boys have been great with me since arriving which made it easy to settle in and just concentrate on my rugby.

“I still think I have my best years ahead of me as a player and I’m excited for what the next few years here at Rovers brings both for me personally and the club.”

Head Coach Tim Sheens is also pleased to have him on board, adding: “He has settled in well at the Club and I’m pleased to have secured him for the next two seasons. Ben is only 25, so for a player of his age he has a lot of experience which is a big positive when building a team for the future.”
