Russia 2018: Everton’s Bolasie Fires Congo DR Past Guinea

Congo Democratic Republic bounced back from a goal down to inflict a 2-1 defeat on hosts  Guinea in their Group A fixture at the Stade due 28 September on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Seydou Soumah scored the opener for the hosts from the spot in the 23rd minute.

The visitors rallied back  in the second half and scored two goals in two minutes to shock the home side.

Neeskens Kebano levelled scores in the 54th minute, while Everton winger, Yannick Bolasie netted the winner two minutes later.

The Leopards who have now garnered six points  share top spot with Tunisia but have a better goal difference to the Carthage Eagles who beat Libya 1-0 on Friday.

Guinea and Libya are still without a win in the group.
