“Let me say that I am happy that we are not going to play Brazil and Germany in the first round of the World Cup. With this draw, we are have a good chance of qualifying from the group,” Ighalo said on SuperSport moments after the draw.
“It is a tough group and we have to work really hard and get our best for the World Cup. Iceland are also a good team. We can’t forget that they defeated England and did very well at the last European Championships. They and Croatia are no pushover.”

Nigeria have met Argentina four times at previous World Cups and lost all the games, but they have never met Iceland and Croatia.
