RVP Battle To Save World Cup Dream
Injured Holland striker steps up treatment in Rotterdam
Manchester United crock Robin van Persie is in Holland battling to rescue his World Cup dreams.
The Sunday Mirror says Van Persie was spotted on crutches at Rotterdam’s Erasmus Medical Centre. He is being treated by orthopaedic surgeon Rien Heijboer.
And in Holland there are growing fears that the original United statement that Van Persie would be out for four to six weeks may be optimistic.
A minimum eight week lay-off is now being mentioned. That would rule Van Persie out of the rest of his club’s campaign.
