Salah Makes Goals History As Liverpool Outclass Roma

Mohamed Salah set a goals record as Liverpool defeated AS Roma 5-2 in the first leg of the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Braces from Salah and Roberto Firmino and a Saido Mane strike gave Liverpool a commanding 5-0 lead but Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti reduced the deficit.
Salah has now scored more goals this season (43) than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues, overtaking Cristiano Ronaldo currently on 42.

The Egypt forward is now the first Liverpool player in the club’s history to reach double figures in a single European campaign with his 10 Champions League goals.

Salah, who joined Liverpool from AS Roma, in the summer curled in a beautiful strike in the 36th minute.
He doubled his side’s lead late in the first half, finishing off a brilliant counter-attack with a delightful dink past Alisson in goal for Roma.
Mane made it 3-0 in the 56th minute before Firmino scored twice in seven minutes to  make it 5-0.
The Brazilian forward scored in the  62nd and in the 69th minutes of the game before Dzeko pulled one back.
Perotti scored Roma’s second goal in the 85th minute from the spot.

I don’t really know why coaches always always make this silly mistake of removing their star players when the match has not ended? It is so peculiar with Jurgen klopp and he will never learn the lesson. CR7 and Messi always finish their matches. The lesson is that these star players put the defence on constant work needing assistance from the midfield and their attack so that the ball does not come near your goal area in a dangerous or threatening manner. Liverpool vs West Bromwich, 2goals up but when Salah was removed WB equalized. Liverpool vs Roma. Immediately Salah was removed after 5goals down, they scored 2 very vital goals. 5-2 is the same as 4-1 as they’re all 3goals difference. If they can do it with Barca they can do it with Liverpool. Of course there are no same 2 matches. Anything can happen but as we are aware, history can repeat itself. It was so pain when Roma scored those goals and I believed if there was about 20 minutes remaining Roma would have cleared up the remaining 3 goals. The fear now is that Roma will go into the second leg with this momentum and nothing will stop them.
