Nigeria striker Gbolahan Salami bagged a brace as his Finnish side KuPS beat IFK Mariehamn 2-1 on Friday.
Also in action for KuPS were Nigerian duo Paul Onobi and Azubuike Egwuekwe.
Salami gave his team the lead in the 59th minute before Aleksei Kangaskolk equalised two minutes later for Mariehamn.
In the 63rd minute, Salami restored KuPS lead which turned out to be the winning goal.
Salami has now scored 10 league goals this current campaign.
In Norway, Chidiebere Nwakali scored IK Start’s only goal but it was not enough as they lost 4-1 to Aalesund.
Nwakali opened the scoring in the 18th minute before IK Start went on to concede four goals.
And in Denmark, Rilwan Hassan and Paul Onuachu were in Midtjylland’s starting 11 in their 3-0 home win against Esbjerg.
