Super Eagles fringe player, Gbolahan Salami continued his goal scoring form in the Finnish elite division, as he scored the only goal in KuPS's 1-0 home win against OPS Kevin on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Salami's goal came in the 13th minute of the encounter. He has now scored 14 league goals for KuPS in this current campaign.
Also in action for KuPS were Azubuike Egwuekwe and Paul Onobi.
Also in Finland, Nigeria duo, Nnamdi Oduamadi and Taye Taiwo featured for HJK who were held to a 0-0 home draw against Seinaejoen JK.
Taiwo played for 90 minutes, while Oduamadi was replaced by Mikael Forsell on 90 minutes.
Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong was on target for Haugesund in their 2-1 home win against Bodoe/Glimt in the Norwegian top flight on Sunday.
Troost-Ekong scored in the 35th minute to put Haugesund 1-0 up.
It was his third goal in 23 league appearances for Haugesund.
In the German Bundesliga, Super Eagles defender leon Balogun made a return from injury and featured in Mainz 05 3-0 away loss to Schalke 04.
Balogun played the entire 90 minutes of the game.
In the Iatalian Serie A, Nigeria midfielder, Joel Obi made an appearance for Torino who played 2-2 at home against Lazio.
Obi replaced Danielle Baselli in the 74th minute.
Still in the Serie A, Umar Sadiq who is currently on loan at Bologna was introduced for Sergio Floccari in his side's 1-1 home draw against Sassuolo.
Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile played 90 mnutes for Standard Liege who thrashed Waasland-Beveren 5-0 in the Belgian top division.
Super Eagles defender Wilfred Ndidi played for Genk in their 1-0 win against St. Truiden in another Belgian first division game.
Ndidi made a 90 minutes appearance for Genk.
And in another Belgian top flight clash, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was in action for Gent who lost 3-2 to Eupen who paraded Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru.
Simon replaced Danijel Milicevic on 76 minutes, while Anderson Esiti and Rabiu Ibrahim were benched for Gent.
