Salford Coach Rules Out Complacency

Salford coach Ian Watson insists his side aren’t safe yet despite seeing off Toronto Wolfpack 28-16 on Saturday. The Red Devils recorded the victory despite seeing Luke Burgess and Jackson Hastings sent off in the second half.

Salford have a perfect record in The Qualifiers with four wins in four games, but Watson says his side are not safe from the drop just yet.

“I was really pleased. We knew Toronto would approach the game with physicality but I thought we dealt with that really well,” he said, as reported by rugby-league.com

“Ten points has to be the target – history has proved that. We have to make sure we get another win.”

Salford face Leeds Rhinos (a), London Broncos (a) and Toulouse (h) in their final three fixtures in The Qualifiers.
