Sampdoria have slapped a £43.5million price tag on the head of key midfielder Amadou Diawara as interest starts to grow. The 21-year-old has caught the eye since arriving at the club three seasons ago and reports are rife suggesting Carlo Ancelotti could face a fight to keep hold.

Diawara has not had as much game time this season, but Ancelotti still believes he has a big future and would be reluctant to let go if an offer came in.
Napoli have certainly dismissed the possibility of him leaving for a cut-price fee as he still has just over two years remaining on his current contract and they will demand over £40million.
Whether that scares off any interested parties or whether offers will still come in for the Guinean, remains to be seen.
According to reports in Italy, English Premier League clubs Tottenham and Wolves are both looking at the midfielder and could make a bid when the transfer window opens again in January.
