Super Sand Eagles coach, Adamu Ejor has boasted that the team will retain the Copa Lagos trophy which they have won for the past three seasons. Ejor noted that the team will be ready for the competition which will have Senegal, Ivory Coast and Ghana competing with Nigeria in the fourth edition of the tournament.
“We have about nine days to train in Badagary and I must confess that we are going to be ready for the competition. That is why I invited just the players that I have worked with before so that we will not have any problem of blending during the competition.
“All the countries that will come for this edition of the competition are good in their own right. I have seen Senegal and Ivory Coast play before, and I know that we will not take them lightly.
“I am confident that the boys that I have invited will not find it too tough with their West African brothers.”It will not be easy, but the boys will surely deliver at the end of the competition,” Ejor said.
