Sarri Relieved As Chelsea Edge Past Eagles

Maurizio Sarri was happy to take three points with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace but felt they should have killed the game off sooner. Roy Hodgson’s side produced a stifling display to try and cancel out Chelsea, especially Eden Hazard, and it paid off in the first half after surviving Ross Barkley and Willian both hitting the post.

Chelsea needed to find something different to break down the hosts and it was certainly a different source for the goal as N’Golo Kante popped up with a rare goal six minutes after half time.
