Charles Leclerc believes things are “looking good” for Sauber in 2019 after the team made good progress this season. The 21-year-old Monegasque driver and his team-mate Marcus Ericsson have defied expectations in 2018, helping take the Swiss-based team to ninth place in the Constructors’ Championship ahead of Toro Rosso and Williams with one race remaining.
Sauber were tipped to finish at the bottom of the pile and Leclerc has praised the hard work the team has put in with their car to make it more competitive.

And, while he will move to Ferrari in 2019 with veteran former world champion Kimi Raikkonen going in the opposite direction, Leclerc can only see more progress on the horizon for Sauber. “I don’t think we expected to have such a good end of the season, with the end of the development programme for this year’s car so early,” Leclerc said. “So it’s definitely looking good for them for next year, because they’ve had quite a bit of time to develop the car.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
