It has been a disappointing qualifying campaign for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they seek a ticket to the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Morocco where they are expected to defend the title they won in 2013.
Stephen Keshi’s team have lost two and drawn one game thus far.
The Super Eagles host Sudan at the Abuja National Stadium, 5pm Nigerian time today (Wednesday, October 15), in their reverse fixture of the qualification race.
Keshi and his team have their work cut out; they must win and HOPE that South Africa do them a favour by defeating Congo when they play later tonight, then Nigeria’s dream of the Nations Cup is well and alive. On the flip side, if they suffer another defeat, or perhaps a draw and it will be over for Nigeria.
So do you think the Eagles will get their first win of the AFCON qualifiers today?
Do you think they are already out of the race for one of the Group A two tickets to the 2015 AFCON?
What are your expectations and prediction for this all-important match?
