Roma star Patrik Schick has admitted some of the team are still finding their feet after a busy summer of activity at the club. The Italian giants allowed some big names to leave earlier this year, with some of their replacements lacking experience.
Roma look like they are planning for the future but have endured a slow start to the new Serie A campaign.
They have picked just one win in their first three matches and Shick, who only arrived in 2017, admits it may just take them a few weeks to get settled.
“There is still a bit of confusion,” Schick told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “We need to settle down. A lot of players arrived; as many as 11, maybe more. A lot of those are young players and, on the other hand, Radja Nainggolan, Kevin Strootman and Alisson left who were all leaders.
“I arrived in shape and motivated. Unfortunately we lost the last game and I’m disappointed that I couldn’t score, but I feel fit and determined to show who I am.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
