Kasper Schmeichel was voted Budweiser Man of the Match for his heroics despite Denmark crashing out of this year’s FIFA World Cup on penalties to Croatia in the round of 16 on Sunday.
Schmeichel made three penalty saves in the game which unfortunately was not enough to help his side into the last eight.
The Leicester City keeper stopped Luka Modric’s spot kick with four minutes remaining in extra-time to send the game into a penalty shootout.
And during the shootout, he made two saves off Milan Badelj and Josip Pivaric to cap a brilliant individual performance.
His opposite number Danijel Subasic also made three penalty saves, all coming during the penalty shootout.
