AJAX CAPE TOWN VS ENYIMBA
Enyimba's first meeting against a South African side in the CAF Champions League was on June 26, 2005 with Ajax Cape Town their opposition. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
ENYIMBA VS AJAX CAPE TOWN
The Peoples Elephant won the reverse fixture 2-0 on August 21 at the Enyimba Sports Stadium.
The result was however not enough to book a place in the quarter- finals with Egyptian side Al- Ahly and Raja Casablanca of Morocco progressing into the next round.

The Aba giants lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium, Johannesburg with their former player Onyekachi Okonkwo scoring the decisive goal.
The defeat cost the Aba giants a place in the last four with their opponents moving into the semi-finals alongside Ivorien side, ASEC Mimosas.
