Brighton are bracing themselves for rival Premier League interest in midfielder Pascal Gross ahead of the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old German has become a key man in boss Chris Hughton’s plans at the Amex Stadium after joining from Ingolstadt in the summer of 2017.

Gross scored eight goals and provided eight assists in all competitions last season, while he has one goal in eight league outings so far this term.
However, reports claim new Southampton head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl is targeting a swoop to be reunited with Gross in January as he looks to bolster his struggling squad at St Mary’s.
Hasenhuttl managed Gross during his three years in charge of Ingolstadt between 2013 and 2016 and it appears that he will now try and lure the player along the south coast to join him at the Saints.
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also believed to be a big fan of Gross and has also been linked with a possible January swoop.
Hughton is unlikely to be keen on losing the German but will demand at least £15million for his signature before considering a sale.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
