Former Flying Eagles invitee, Semi Ajayi, has joined Cardiff City from FA Cup winners Arsenal on a permanent deal.
This was made known by Cardiff City on its official website.
"Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Semi Ajayi, subject to international clearance," the website stated.
"The 21 year-old central defender – a Nigerian U21 international – has signed for the Bluebirds on a permanent deal until the summer of 2017."
"Whilst with the Gunners, he was an unused substitute in Barclays Premier League victories over Newcastle United and Stoke City and in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Hull City, while Semi also appeared on the substitutes bench for City in the away win against Nottingham Forest on the final day of the 2014/15 campaign."
Ajayi featured in some of the Flying Eagles' tune-up games ahead of the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey, but was dropped by John Obuh.
