Defender Miranda is expected to leave Inter Milan on a free transfer next summer and Sevilla are leading the race to sign him. The Brazilian centre-back’s current contract expires in June 2019 and the former Atletico Madrid man has reportedly informed Nerazzurri club officials he has no intention of signing new terms.

The 34-year-old can sort out a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs from January and Sevilla are hoping to persuade him to commit to a move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Miranda has been pushed to the periphery of the Inter first team so far this season and, despite making 106 appearances for the Italians in all competitions since joining from Atletico in summer 2016, seems set to move on at the end of the campaign.
