  • Oh my goodness! What a performance by Liverpool. For all the goals scored by, my man of the match was the Brazilian defensive midfielder Febinho.

All I could think about watching that guy was Mikel Agu and Ndidi.

Defensive midfield is not just about covering the pitch and making endless tackles. It is also about being the catalyst for deadly attacking initiatives ; retaining possession with effortless ease; bossing the middle of the park; dictating pace and tempo; whilst at the same time performing the defensive duties of shielding the back four.

Ndidi and Agu can take one or two things away from the way Febinho approaches games.
