Crystal Palace coach Richard Shaw has hailed the attitude shown by striker James Daly and feels the youngster has a bright future. Daly, along with Eagles team-mate Tyler Brown, joined Kingstonian on loan but the pair both played for Palace’s Under-23s in a 4-0 win against Barnsley at Selhurst Park on Monday.
Shaw has explained the decision behind allowing Daly to go out on loan at Kingstonian and feels the player has things to work on but a great attitude to go on and improve himself.
“He is one of them guys who loves to play football, and with the loan, he is out at Kingstonian, but there’s a lot to do with James, technically,” Shaw told Palace TV .
“He needs to retain possession better at times, but I look at the other side of it and what he does give you is an unbelievable work ethic. He gives defenders no time and space and his attitude is absolutely brilliant, and that’s why you play him.
“The fact that he went out on loan to Kingstonian was only really because he could still train with us with the U23s, and we need to work hard with him, with his hold up play, and he knows that as well.
“But you won’t get a better player in terms of his willingness to work hard and crack on to try and make a career for himself.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
