Former Nigeria international Shola Ameobi has sided for League One side Fleetwood Town till the end of the season.
According to bbc.co.uk, the former Newcastle forward joined Fleetwood Town after Bolton Wanderers were unable to offer him a new deal.
The 34-year-old could make his debut for Fleetwood Town when they travel away to Port Vale this weekend.
Fleetwood's manager Steven Pressley, expressed his delight following the signing of Ameobi.
"In January we signed a number of younger players and it was vital to the group that we brought in a player with experience," Pressley said.
"We certainly couldn't get anymore experience than Shola and we are absolutely delighted with that."
Ameobi spent time in Turkish side Gaziantep BB and Crystal Palace before joining Bolton Wanderers.
