–Ex-Eagles duo say it’s good for his career
Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorunmu and ex-international Ben Iroha have hailed the recent transfer of Brown Ideye from Dynamo Kyiv, Russia to West Bromwich of England.
Shorunmu described the move as a good one for the power shooting striker who has
been handed jersey no.9 by the Barclays Premier League side.
“It’s a good thing to have happened to his career, I mean, it’s good for him to have been noticed and signed by the English club”, Shorunmu said.
“It shows how good he is, and I’m confident he will excel in England”, the former Nigeria goalkeeper added.
However, Iroha who was excited over the deal added that it was a massive lift in his career and represents how good the striker is.
“I saw what he did at the AFCON in South Africa last year and I’m not surprised. It shows how true he’s come in his career and I believe he’ll get much better with the EPL challenge,” Iroha added.
