Siasia To Earn N3m Monthly, Amodu N1.5m Per Match

The newly appointed Chief Coach of National U-23 team Samson Siasia will earn N3 million monthly, official sources have revealed.

Feelers from the Glass House indicate that the management of the Nigeria Football Federation has proposed that Siasia who was paid N5 million monthly when he was the Coach of Super Eagles in 2011 will be presented an offer of take it or leave it N36 million yearly salary.

His assistants will be offered a monthly pay of N1million but subject to the approval of the executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation. Siasia will be assisted by the duo of Fatai Amoo and David Ngodigha.

Complete Sports source also disclosed that the management of the NFF are also proposing to pay Amodu Shuaibu, the Super Eagles interim coach N1.5 million per game while his assistants, Alloy Agu, Salisu Yusuf and Gbenga Ogunbote will get N1 million each per each of the two games left.

Meanwhile, the newly constituted technical committee of the NFF led by Felix Anyansi will meet with the coaches of both the Super Eagles and U-23 team to defend their respective programmes.

The Super Eagles have two games against Congo and South Africa in the AFCON qualifiers while the U-23 team will kick off in February next year.
