U-23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia insists his side must improve on their performance if they are make it to the last four at the Africa U-23 Nations Cup in Senegal, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Siasia's charges surrendered a 2-0 lead in the first half against Egypt in their second Group B game in the competition to end the game in a 2-2 draw and must now avoid defeat to Algeria in their final group game to be certain of making it to the last four.
And the former international admitted after the game that his team now face a tough task to make it beyond the group stage.
"We did not play in the second half and we cannot continue like this," a disappointed Sisia told the media after the game.
"If we want to go to the Olympics, we have to be careful. We tend to lose concentration in the second half and have to fix it.
"It was the case in the first game against Mali and the same thing happened against Egypt.
"It is no longer funny. It will be a tough battle against Algeria, and we have to be careful about the North African side, they attack left and right."
