Simon, Nsofor on Target; Ikeme, Aluko In Action

In Belgium, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was on target for KAA Gent in their 2-0 win against Oostende in their third match of the Jupiler Pro League playoff. Oostende also paraded paraded Joseph Akpala.

The top six clubs in the regular season of the Jupiler Pro League compete against each other in the playoff. The teams play against each other twice.

Simon, who replaced Mbark Boussoufa in the 74th minute, sealed the win for Gent with three minutes remaining. Thomas Matton had given Gentthe lead in the 19th minute.

It was Simon's second goal of the season in 26 appearances.

In the German second division, Victor Obinna Nsofor netted in the 85th minute to help MSV Duisburg defeat visiting 1860 Munich 2-1.

Also in action for Wolverhampton Wandererers, was Bright Enobakhare, who replaced George Saville on 89 minutes.

For Hull, Sone Aluko went in for Adama Diomande in the 72nd minute and Moses Odubajo was substituted for Robert Snodgrass on 67 minutes.

In Russia, Fegor Ogude played for 90 minutes in Amkar Perm's 1-1 away draw at Mordovya. His Nigerian teammate, Bright Dike was an unused substitute in the game.

And in the Norwegian league, Fred Friday equalised for Lillestrom in their 2-2 away draw with Haugesund.

Friday, found the back of the net in the 80th minute, to restore parity for his side.

On parade for Haugesund were the duo of William Troost-Ekong and Anthony Izuchukwu.
