Gent forward Moses Simon is looking to divine intervention ahead of the Super Eagles’ 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.
The Eagles face a make-or-break clash against Egypt in Alexandria this evening.
A win for Egypt will cement their place at next year’s AFCON in Gabon, while a draw will also be in the Pharaohs’ favour.
Ahead of the big tie, Simon, who featured in the first leg in Kaduna, stated that the Eagles will give their all against Egypt.
“Game day, team spirit, fight to survive. Everything is possible with God,” he wrote on his Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, injured defender Kenneth Omeruo has expressed optimism that the Eagles can secure the three points against Egypt.
Omeruo was initially listed in the invited foreign-based players by coach Samson Siasia for the double header before sustaining an injury.
He wrote on his Twitter handle: ” Come on guys, game day. We can do it. Good luck.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
